How to hang mirror on a tiled wall?

Hi what anchor or plug do I use to hang a mirror that weighs 9kgs.

Not stud where I want to hang it.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your mirror.

Generally, I would suggest using QEP 6mm Diamond Tile Drill Bit to drill through the tile. I then recommend the Ramset 6 x 38mm Universal Anchor - 6 Pack in combination with the Everhang 20kg Heavy Duty Solid Wall Picture Hanging Hooks. But if the hooks are not compatible with your mirror, can you please post a photo of the hook system used at the back of the mirror. Once we see it, we'll be able to offer recommendations on what hooks to use.

Hi @cruisenwithdan,

I'd suggest you use two hooks, as in a hollow wall situation, the anchor is only rated to 7kg. Being a 9kg mirror, you will need two to support this weight.

Make sure you install them perfectly level with each other to ensure the mirror hangs straight.
