Hi,
how to install spray toilet bidet seat DIY?
Water T junction is inside the the water tank and toilet is wall mount..
plz advise.
thank you
Hi @jack89,
Thank you for your question.
You're going to have to replace the tap inside your cistern with one that can connect two flexible hoses. Assuming the pipe coming from the wall is 15mm in diameter, then you should be able to use this Brasshards 15 x 20mm Chrome Loose Nut 2 Way Under Sink Tap.
You'll have to start by turning off your water at the water meter. You should then disconnect the toilet's supply hose from the tap so that the tap can rotate. Use multigrip pliers or a pipe wrench to rotate the tap off the supply pipe.
Once removed, clean up the thread on the supply pipe and remove the old thread seal tape. Replace this tape with new thread seal tape, then twist your new tap onto the supply pipe and tighten it.
Once the new tap is on, you can reconnect the toilet and follow the instructions in the bidet manual for installation.
When everything is installed, turn the water back on and check for leaks.
Let me know what you think, and if you have further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Hi JacobZ,
Thank you for reply.
but my main concern is if I use “ Brasshards 15 x 20mm Chrome Loose Nut 2 Way Under Sink Tap”
I have to make drill in water tank OR in lead to for hose that goes to conn et bidet seat bcoz main water tap connection is inside the tank.
so how to solve that.??
thank you
Hi @jack89,
Unfortunately, it's either drill through the cistern or have another supply point installed on the outside of the cistern, which would require a plumber.
You can drill a hole above the water line in the cistern, using a Holesaw Arbor and a Diamond Grit Holesaw of a suitable diameter to allow the flexible hose to pass through.
You can see an example of this being done in @bazzyboy's discussion on the Best drill bit for vitreous china (WC)?
Let me know what you think.
Jacob
Hi @jack89,
I have a very similar toilet and was wondering the same thing.
On closer inspection the bowl of your toilet has plastic plug on the side and if you look in your cistern, at the bottom you should see a plastic plug with a rubber gasket which is where you could run hose from inside your cistern out though the side of the bowl.
The hole in the side of the bowl might not be big enough for the cistern connector so it may involve some work removing the cistern unfortunately, however, better than drilling a hole in the side of it.
EDIT: Side note I just found out it is illegal to install bidet's yourself:

Thank you for sharing the article from the Victorian Building Authority.
Considering this information, it would be best that all bidet installations are left to the professionals.
