How to match mixer tap flex hose connector?

Hi

I have to replace a leaking flex hose for my laundry sink mixer tap. However when I bought the mixer tap flex hose from bunnings, the connector size is a lot bigger than the old one. I couldn’t find the right sized one at bunnings.

Does anyone have any tips on what I can do?

Re: mixer tap flex house connector size

Hi @tarragindi_haus,

Is it possible to grab some measurements of the thread on both the new and the old hose?

Also, are you aware of the brand of the mixer tap, and if so, what is it?

Unfortunately, all our replacement flex hoses appear to be the same size as the one on the right, so I imagine it is probably an overseas brand that uses a different-sized thread.

We may be able to use a brass threaded adaptor, but I suspect it would be unable to slip through the mixer body with one attached.

If we can work out the brand of the tap, and it is from one of Bunnings' suppliers, we may be able to order a replacement hose, so I will wait for further details.

Jacob
