Hi @manis,
So you tried something like this.

Let us know if you managed to open the door.
Cheers
Hi @manis,
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.
The first thing I would do is assess whether there is a way to gain access to the other side of the door. If there is a window, and it is in a safe location to climb through, I would see if this is possible. If you can get access to the inside of the door, you may be able to simply unlock the door. If there is a failure in the lock, you can remove the cover plate, unscrew the handle and then remove it, which should then give you access to the latching mechanism inside the door. You may be able to manually retract the latch, allowing you to open the door.
If this is not possible, then could you start by removing the cover plate from this side of the door and uploading a photo of what you see?

The cover plate will likely just be pressed in place, so rotate it around and lever it off the door, and it should come off relatively easily.
Unfortunately, you may need to drill out the screws, which will come from the other side of the door, so the handle can be removed. This would render the handle unusable, but it should get you access to the other side of the door.
You could then install a new handle to replace the one you have removed.
If you can let me know what you find when you remove the cover plate, I may be able to assist further.
Jacob
Thanks everyone
Managed to open with a credit card
The entire lock needs replacing as the locking mechanism is seized
