Hello,
I have just moved into a new apartment in a mew establishment and trying to connect my washing machine water inlet pipes. But the water valve below my laundry sink seems to have a cap and even after alot of efforts it hasn’t budged.
any help and guidance is greatly appreciated!
thanks!
Hi @ashchitnis,
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. We're happy to have you here.
To start with, you must ensure the tap is fully closed before attempting to remove the cap. As an added precaution, it would be worthwhile turning your water off at your water meter to ensure you don't get any unexpected spills.
These caps will be on tight, so grab some multigrip pliers to give you more leverage and help twist the caps off.
Make sure to wrap the caps with a rag to prevent damaging them during the removal process.
Let me know how you get on and if you have any trouble, please don't hesitate to reach out so I can assist further.
