hi there, I’ve enjoyed looking at your members Renos and sharing their tips with us. In one of the photos I’m wondering if the bath has been painted? My bath is in perfect order but is cream and I want to update to white. I’ve used White Knight on bathroom tiles before with great success. I’m wondering how practical it would be to have it painted?
Hi @LCD55,
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.
Yes, you can paint a bathtub using a specialised paint such as this Rust-Oleum 946ml White Gloss Tub And Tile Refinishing Kit or this White Knight 500ml White Tub and Basin Paint.
There's also a handy step-by-step guide that shows you the process - How To Paint a Bath Tub. There's a bit of prep work involved, but all in all, it is a relatively simple process that is easy to do yourself.
Have a look at the guide and let me know if there are any steps you need clarification on. I'm happy to assist further if required.
