How to plug vanity waste pipe

Our vanity has been removed for renovation but the waste pipe hasn’t been capped. Now having problems with sewerage smells so how do we cap the pipe?

Hi @tanyacooper,

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is wonderful to have you with us.

Depending on the diameter of the pipe, you could put a 40mm Push On Cap or a 50mm Push On Cap over the end of the pipe.

You may need to use a utility knife to widen the gap around the pipe so that the cap can sit over it. If so, just remember to wear some gloves to protect yourself from lacerations.
