How to protect painted tile floors?

Hi, I recently painted my bathroom tile floors using the Dulux renovation range paint. I’ve done the primer underneath per the instructions and 3 coats of the top coat. Would you recommend any additional product on top to protect the paint (eg sealant)?

thank you!

Re: How to protect painted tile floors

Hello @katie123

The Dulux Renovation Range tile paint has been designed to be tough and hard wearing. One of the main reasons that a finishing coat is not applied to its surface is because it will reduce its non-slip performance, which is not recommended for safety reasons. It's best to leave the finish as is. However, if you are currently standing in specific spot in your bathroom and wish to protect it, I suggest using a Matpro 51 x 81cm Anti Fatigue Mat. It's relaxing and protects your painted tile floor.

If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.

Eric
