Hi @magdalini,
Thank you for your question.
I'm sorry, but I can't say how much it would cost to have your bath removed, as prices can be extremely variable for construction-related work. The only way to know for sure is to have someone quote the job for you. If you get 2-3 quotes, you will get a better picture of the spectrum for pricing in your area.
Your bath is not one single piece. Where the tiles are at the front of the tub, there is a framed wall clad with fibre cement sheeting which is then tiled over. Demolition and removal would start with removing the tiles, followed by the removal of the sheet and framing. This will then allow access to the underside of the tub to disconnect the drain and finally remove the bathtub.
If you wish to have the drain and taps moved, you will also need the assistance of a plumber.
Let me know what you think, and if you have further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
Jacob
Thank you so much
Thank you for your information most helpful, how do I disconnect the drain thank you
The drain can be disconnected once you have removed the tile and sheeting @magdalini. You'll then have access under the bath where you'll be able to cut pipework and undo the nut that holds the drain to the bottom of the tub.
Before starting any work on an older home, it's extremely important to have any cement sheet assessed to ensure it is not asbestos.
