Anyone know how to remove an old sink tap like this?
Hi @humblejoe,
You'll want to start by turning off the water at the mains.
Once the water is off, this hole should have a grub screw in it that, once removed, will allow the top portion of the spout to come off.
When the top of the spout has been removed, you should be able to remove the base of the spout by rotating it counterclockwise.
You will likely need to use multigrip pliers to get a good grip on the base of the tap. If you need to protect the finish, you can wrap it in a cloth or cover the grip on the pliers with some tape.
Let me know if you have any further questions.

Thank you!!!
Turns out there was no screw in place, confused me greatly!! after some wd40 I was able to lift the top of the tap off, and a lot of muscle to then get the tap off the wall. Got there though! Thanks for your guidance 🙏
