Pls share ideas to renovate this bathroom, happy to remove tub completely
Hi @swapna,
Here's a helpful guide to help you get started: How to plan a bathroom renovation.
As per the article, it would be good to understand what your goals are for the project, what your budget is, and whether you are just wanting a simple makeover or a total renovation. It would also be helpful if you could share the dimensions of the room and a basic sketch of where the current plumbing is so members can better understand what you are working with.
Thanks,
Jason

Jason's advice is very sound. Can you please tell us what your renovation goals are? What would you like to do with the appliances that are already in the bathroom?

I would like to renovate Bathroom and Laundry
Just to talk about Bathroom, yes we want to do total renovation.
In reagrds to that, I would like to remove tub, add washing maching in this room
Goal is to utilise the space, with bigger showers, new sink, benchtop with washing machine underneath.
I don't have any clue regarding plumbing, but i have shared the dimesions of the bathroom and laundry, sorry it's not clear but hope it will give a startign idea.
Previously one of the bunnings team member helped us with renovation ideas for our laundry, unfortunately we did not go ahead, planning to get both laundry and bathroom done together,
But in this space looking for bathroom renovation ideas.
Hi @swapna,
Thank you for the additional details. Unfortunately, these measurements are for the size of the windows, and they do not provide enough detail to really come up with any solid ideas.
If you can grab a tape measure and tell us the dimensions of the room, we will be able to assist you far better.
Are you looking to strip out everything and essentially start again from a clean slate?
You said you want to add a washing machine to your bathroom? Is that correct, or am I misunderstanding?
It’s also helpful to think about how you want the space to function. For example, how many people will use the bathroom regularly? Do you need extra storage? Is there a particular style or finish you like—modern, traditional, coastal, etc.? These are great starting points before looking into specific products or trades.
Removing the bath would certainly open up a lot of space to work with, although there would be implications in terms of plumbing and waterproofing that would need to be addressed upon its removal. Since you're not sure about plumbing, it may be worth having a licensed plumber look at the space early on. They can advise on what's feasible and flag any limitations with drainage or water connections.
I'm more than happy to help guide you with product options, layout ideas, and tools that can support your renovation. Once we have a bit more information about what you’re hoping to achieve, we can certainly look at some options that align with your goals.

HI @swapna so excited for you bathroom renovation.
As @Jason mentioned starting with a goal and who uses the bathroom would be the first step as it will help you prioritise.
If you're planning to remove the tub you could add a walk in shower then a double vanity in place of the current vanity and shower.
Best of luck
Good Afternoon @swapna
Its a bit hard from the pic that you have uploaded to sort some details.
How about grabbing a piece of pape rand sketching it out as a large pic, Id even suggest an A3 size note pad, start of with the overall space as rectangles and then add diemensions.
Have you considered wall removal and is it possible.
Mark out window locations.
Mark on the drawing water points and sewer pipes.
Mark the existing powerpoints and lights.
You will really narrow down what you like by doing the above. Then we can help you enlarge upon it.
