Re: old shower screen door repairs

Hi @Honest52,

The first thing we should look at is what is causing the door to be difficult to move. Are there rollers on the top or bottom of the door? What condition are the tracks in? Is there any buildup in the tracks?

Some photos of the inside of the tracks would certainly help.

If there is any buildup, giving the tracks a good clean with some CLR would be a good start.

If there are rollers, we might be able to look at a replacement, or even just service them with a good clean and some lubricant.

If we can work out how to get them moving more smoothly without replacement, that would be ideal.

Unfortunately, we don't have a like for like replacement. We have Shower Screens, but they are predominantly designed for use with shower bases, and they start at about 830mm wide. Unfortunately, if you needed to replace it, you would likely have to speak with a glazier to have something custom installed.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Thanks Jacob.

I might change the design to suit the existing shower sliding doors. 830mm wide is good enough.

Re: old shower screen door repairs

Hi @Honest52,

We have got a variety of Sliding Door Rollers & Wheels, but we'd have to see what type you have to confirm whether we have a suitable replacement or not.

Can you take a photo of the rollers for us?

Is there any kind of model number or brand printed on them?

Any other info you can provide will help.

Jacob
