I’m trying to replace my laundry tub. I’ve loosened the locking nut under the mixer tap. But to totally remove the tap I either need to get the 2 connection ends through the large cylindrical sleeve (which seems impossible due to the large nuts on the ends of each cable), or it looks like I need to disconnect the other ends from within the body of the mixer. I can’t find instructions on how to do this. It appears to be a Caroma, stamped with Wimka 20203, about 10 years old. Help!

Hi @Bill55,
The top of the flexi hoses should be attached to the mixer body via a threaded connection, so you should be able to rotate the top of the hose counterclockwise to disconnect it and pull it out through the brass threaded tube.
Once those hoses are disconnected, you should be free to remove the tap body.
Give this a try and let me know how you go.
I am happy to assist further if required.

That did it, many thanks. I could only unscrew one of the hoses, but once it came out the other one could then drop through the collar😊
