How to replace progressive mixer tap?

hi I have recently renovated my bathroom. I included Sussex progressive mixer tap. Can it be changed to a standard mixer ?
thanks in advance

Re: Progressive mixer chsnge over

Hi @Deith,

A warm welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.

Unfortunately, I am not aware of the specific mechanisms used in this tap. It would be best to contact the manufacturer of the product for their guidance.

Assuming the in-wall mixer body is compatible with a replacement mixer tap, then I imagine it would be possible, but you will likely need a plumber to assist with the installation of the new mixer tap.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Re: Progressive mixer chsnge over

Thanks for the reply. I spoke with Sussex. It can be changed over but the internal mechanism is bigger than the hole the tap is fitted to. I can replace it but need to redo tiling or I guess I can remove by cutting a hole in the plaster wall at the rear. Either way not an easy fix. Can’t simply just change a cartridge.

Hi @Deith,

That's a shame to hear.

I'm glad you at least have an answer that you can now work with towards a solution.
