Hi I’m a newbie looking to replace my existing shower head. Am I able to replace it by myself or is a plumber required? How would I go about replacing it, can the existing tap be used and can I replace it with something like this?
Thanks

Hello @DarkBaron
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your shower head.
I suggest having a quick look at this guide - How to change a shower head. It will give you a general idea of how to remove your old shower head and install a new one. I also recommend having a look at the Estilo WELS 3 Star 9L/min Chrome 3 Function Hand Shower Set. It allows you to take the shower head off the wall in order to clean shower itself. I think its a great feature of this unt. But if you prefer a rainhead shower, I recommend having a look at the Estilo WELS 3 Star 9L/min Chrome 3 Function 1/2 Twin Rail Shower Set.
If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.

Hi @EricL ,
Thank you for the warm welcome and for sharing the guide. It has been most helpful.
A follow up question all our fittings are square shaped. The one recommended is round. Similar square shaped ones has a rail which I think requires some drilling into the tiles? Would the rainwater shower I posted in my initial post not work? Is there anything else I will need to take into consideration? For instance the weight and height of the shower head?
Thanks
Hello @DarkBaron
I believe it will work. It may have an extra step or two, but it's not too complex and you should be able to connect it without too much fuss.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
