How to replace tap with longer shaft?

Hi guys, having trouble finding replacement for these (separate hot/cold combined tap and spout). Need something with a longer spout. Can you recommend please? Unsure exact diameter of copper pipe, but it's under 24mm (that's what I could measure roughly behind the locking nut without unscrewing the whole assembly, but that includes an unknown amount of thread tape as shown).

Re: Replacement tap with longer shaft

Hi @Melissa4,

Is it possible to get the measurements from the wall to the outside of the tap?

How long are you hoping for?

Unfortunately, this style of tap, known as a bib tap, where the tap and spout are one unit connected to a pipe in the wall, seems to be fairly consistent in that they are quite short.

Assuming the threads are 20mm, you could use a Brasshards 20mm Chrome Plated Brass Hex Socket and a Brasshards 20mm Chrome Plated Brass Hexagon Nipple to add some length out from the wall.

Unfortunately, the only other option I can find, is to have a plumber alter the pipes so you can install a wall-mounted spout, which would need separate taps.

Allow me to tag @Noyade, @Dave-1 and @AlanM52 to see if they have any ideas.

Good Afternoon @Melissa4

😕 I am afraid I dont know, not that I dont know of  I havnt had to extend a pipe as yet. I will be filing @JacobZ 's suggestion away as a potential use idea.
