Having trouble finding a seating washer for a double flush Ideal Standard toilet.
The only marking is "2RO4"
external diameter 60mm, internal 15mm
4mm thick
Had a look at my Bunnings Melville and couldn't find a match. Do I have to go to a specialist plumbing supplier?
I'm only after the washer not the whole assembly
Since you have already checked the usual options in store, and if none of the seating washers match your measurements, it is likely that your valve uses a less common size. We do carry a range of generic washers that suit the flush valves we stock, but if your measurements do not match anything on the shelf, it probably means the part is specific to your particular toilet.
Your next step would be to speak with the Special Orders team at your local store. They can contact our Spare Parts team as well as Fix-A-Loo or Kinetic to check whether they can source a washer that matches your dimensions. If they cannot match it, then it is likely to be a specialised part. In that case, you might find it easier to replace the flush valve.
