How to replacing Caroma Kytin basin taps with Caroma Luna?

Hi.

I currently have 2 Caroma basin taps that I need to replace. I want to replace them with Caroma Luna basin taps because they are a similar size and look.

My question: can the Luna taps replace the Kytin taps without any plumbing work being required.? I would prefer Kytin taps but they are no longer manufactured.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your basin taps.

I've just been in contact with the Caroma technical team, and they have confirmed that the Caroma WELS 5 Star 6L/min Chrome Lead Free Luna Lever Basin Tap Set is compatible with the Kytin spindles. Please note that the Luna basin set can only be ordered as a set and not as individual items.

Thanks for the information Eric. You managed to have better luck contacting Caroma than I did. Any time I mentioned Kytin they didn't want want to know me.

Today I managed to buy, from Bunnings Balcatta, a set of Luna basin taps without having to purchase the spout. Only $139.
