Hi, I am looking for advice on sealant to put in my shower frame as there is some water residue appearing on the otherside of the frame. Their is no existing sealant in this area and gaps are there. Thanks
Hi @ooc54321,
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.
You'll want to start by cleaning the tiles and the bottom edge of the frame to ensure your silicone sticks to it well. Use warm soapy water with a Grout Brush to get it nice and clean.
Once clean and dry, use a wet area silicone such as this Selleys Clear Wet Area Waterproof Silicone Sealant to seal up the gap.
Check out How To Silicone a Gap for some guidance on the application process.
Let me know what you think and if you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Hi Jacob @JacobZ
Thanks for the advice. Will get the necessary things.
Is there a reason why there wouldn't have been sealant put there previously and maybe why I should avoid doing it?
Thanks
Hi @ooc54321,
There is no reason why you couldn't seal this gap.
All the silicone would do is stop the water from flowing under the frame.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
