Hi there - I’m trying to update the glass panels in my old bi fold bathroom door to match my new bathroom. Does anyone know if there is a film I can use to completely block out this old cream style pattern
Hello @Veeswee
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your frosted glass panels.
You could technically cover the glass with a Pillar 0.9 x 2m Black Static Plain Blackout Window Film or the Pillar 0.9 x 2m Bronze Tint Static Window Film. These dark film covers will totally block the window and cover the cream pattern on the glass. Please note that working with glass can be dangerous, an accidental hit with a tool or when too much force is applied can make the glass shatter and cause injury. Please make sure to wear personal protection such as firm fitting rubber gloves and goggles when handling glass.
Another thing you can try is to use is a Paint Partner Yellow Window Scraper With Protector to remove the old painted pattern on the window. However, if the paint has been bonded into the glass your only choice is to cover it with film.
If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.
