How to use Easycraft panels near sink?

Hi Bunnings

Was considering using the easycraft vj boards on the side where the sink by attaching to the wall but wondering, should I just cut the boards (seems messy) to make it feel like the boards were always there and the sink is sitting on them. What would you recommend?

Hello @tombot1974

For your bathroom I suggest using the  easycraft 2400 x 1200 x 9mm easyVJ100 Wall Lining Primed Wet Area Interior. While EasyVJ panels can be used in high moisture areas like bathrooms, they are generally not recommended as a splashback directly behind a basin sink. Basins are considered a "wet area" and require a waterproof material, such as tiles or stone for the splashback.

Thanks for that Eric

Other than tiles (I just read the VJs require at least 150mm splashback) that might look good for that sink? Is there a wood or something that might suit against the VJ?

Hello @tombot1974

The only other splashbacks I can suggest are from Vistelle and Bellesi. They do acrylic and glass splashbacks in various colours. I suggest speaking to your local stores in-store kitchen specialist and getting a quote for the splashback in your preferred colour.

If you need further assistance, please let us know.
