Hi there I have a Mondella Toilet and my Kinetic float valve isn't working. Here is exact replacement part: Link here.
Now I've already replaced it and its all working: BUT WHAT A HUGE RIGMAROLE it was!
To replace the valve you think you just swap it over but because of the Mondella design you can't take the valve out without disassembling the entire cistern and base!! Thats correct. I took off the cistern, I had to break the silicone base sealant on the tiles so I could get in the base to replace the valve.
Pls have a look at the valve:

Surely I could take the top part off and put the top part of the
new one on. That way it wouldn't be such a huge job.
Just so you can see what I mean here is my toilet:
As you can see , there's no way to replace the valve without total disassembling.
Your professional opinion about swapping it out would be appreciated since I have 4 more in my home and I don't want to go through what I went through today to replace it when the next one fails.
BTW the initial problem was the water was running and wouldn't stop. Definitely the float valve. I confirmed it by dropping the water, turning the tap off - no running water. Then turning the water on and it would keep going up to the overflow even though the valve was set to about 30mm below the overflow
thanks
