I could no longer live with my old laundry. My husband thought it was a waste of money but he soon changed his mind when he worked out we could also incorporate a little bar area. We lined up a tradie to do the work but he kept changing his availability on us. As an aside he was actually a casual for Bunnings setting up a new store. My husband agreed to do the job. We bought everything from Bunnings and installed it ourself. We obviously had to employ a plumber, electrician, tiler and an expert asbestos remover. I am over the moon with this little Reno and get lots of compliments on it. We also completely painted the room.

I must admit that this is the first I've ever encountered a laundry and mini bar combination. It is definitely a unique solution to the space available. The best part I believe is that it has now become a feature of the area and no longer needs to be hidden.
The new base and wall cabinets have helped transform the overall look and because everything is now hidden away it no longer looks so crowded. The contrasting black benchtop just gives the area a very nice elegant look. How long did the entire renovation take before it was finished?
