Anyone use adhesive pads for use on porous surfaces with Fusion-Loc products? I need to stick to plaster not tile and so need to add adhesion pads. Have read poor reviews.
Is there an alternative product? https://www.bunnings.com.au/fusion-loc-square-adhesive-discs-for-porous-surfaces
Hi @Moragajagga,
I'm not aware of any different types of pads for the fusion system.
Are you looking for a non-permanent solution, or is a permanent fix okay?
If you want something temporary, 3M Command hooks work really well on plasterboard. They stick firmly and can be removed later using the release tab, without damaging the wall. They’re a neat option if you don’t want to drill.
For a more permanent solution, using a proper fixing into the plasterboard will give you the strongest hold. Suction pads can struggle to stick to plaster, so if strength is important, a mechanical fixing is usually more reliable.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
