I have an old showerhead im wanting to replace. Can someone suggest a good showerhead for someone in a wheelchair and also how to replace this old one? (and if it's easy)
Hi @carpedion,
To help us suggest the best showerhead, are there any particular features you're looking for? For example, would a detachable handheld unit be helpful? From what you’ve described, it sounds like a model with both a fixed head and a handheld shower on a hose might work well—these give more flexibility and are often a great option for someone using a wheelchair. Something like the Flexispray WELS 3 Star 9L/min Chrome Havana Short Twin System could work well. Alternatively, we also have the handheld units that sit on a mount until needed, like the Estilo Chrome 3 Function Hand Shower & Connector Set WELS 3 Star Rated 9L/min.
Many of these models are designed to retrofit straight onto your existing plumbing, so they’re typically very easy to install. In most cases, it’s just a matter of unscrewing the old showerhead and screwing the new one on by hand—no special tools or plumbing experience needed.
Here's a helpful guide: How to change a shower head.
