Which convex roller for glass sliding shower door?

Hi all! I would like to replace these rollers on my glass bathroom shower door, but don't understand the difference between the rollers with a screw and the rollers with a threaded stud such as threaded stud A or threaded stud B or threaded stud C.

Why is there so many options available for threaded studs?

This is what it currently looks like, and I believe it is a top hung door: Thankyou!!

There are a few variations of these shower door rollers, which can make it a bit confusing. The main difference is that threaded studs have a threaded section welded onto the roller itself, with a nut on the outside, whereas your current rollers appear to use a screw that passes through the frame and into the back of the roller.

The differences between rollers mainly come down to whether they use a screw or a stud and nut, the width and thickness of the roller wheel, and the width of the spacer behind the roller, which determines how far the wheel sits from the shower frame. Based on your photo, you’re likely looking for something like the Rolltrak 19mm Acetal Convex Roller with Screw, but the best approach is to remove one of your existing rollers and measure the spacer width, wheel thickness, and overall diameter, then take it into store to match it as closely as possible. Be aware that glass shower panels can shatter easily, so when working around them, always wear safety glasses, cut-resistant gloves, long sleeves, trousers, and enclosed shoes to protect yourself.

If the screwed roller is not the correct size, you might be able to substitute it for a threaded stud version. I've added the techincal diagrams below so it's easier to compare the characteristics and dimentions.

Thankyou for all your helpful points! And for putting the diagrams in. I will measure up and get one that matches my dimensions.

As a side note, as I was unscrewing the wheels I noticed one was screwed a few mm higher than the one on the other side. This made me think perhaps if I made it sit lower, it would raise the door a bit more, then it won't be sluggish when I slide it across - lo and behold, that's what I did and now it slides like a dream.

But I will get a set of rollers for future use!!!
