Backyard English pub custom made from shed kit

This poolside pub is the perfect place for a refreshing drink after a summer swim.

The project

Unsure what to put at the end of the pool we narrowed it down to two ideas: a pergola or an English pub. Surprisingly the pub won.

We decided to have a Stilla shed installed (not done by us as we wanted it to be perfect). Once it was installed the fit-out began and "The Shoddy" was born.

The start of the dream.

Stones and synthetic grass.

The shed is built.

A blank canvas.

Start of the fit-out: painted roof and insulation.

Pine lining board goes in.

Stain and paint.

Brick-effect wallpaper worked a treat.

Hybrid flooring laid.

The bar goes in.

The Shoddy is named.

Summer swims and then to the pub.

Exterior paint job.

Almost complete.

This looks absolutly amazing, @Theshoddy. I walk past that shed every day at my local Bunnings and never once thought about it being made into a backyard pub, what amazing yarns you and your mates would have in there. If only I had the space for my own 😭
