A bedroom renovation to brighten the room with a painted blue feature wall, upcycled furniture and beach-themed styling.
My original bedroom furniture made the room look dark and closed in. The dark chocolate coloured bed frame, side tables, tall boy, table and entertainment unit was all a look from the years gone by, and in need of a fresh new look. Lightening everything to white makes everything look more vibrant and welcoming. Add in new wall art, a feature wall, and matching bed linen makes all the difference.
Lightly sanded all the furniture and applied the undercoat and primer (with my little helper).
Painted all the furniture in the Dulux Hog Bristle Quarter paint, and sprayed all the handles from black to matt gold.
Painted the feature wall Dulux Heavenly Blue, added a beach theme canvas print and almost matching bed linen.
Added some shell and candle accessories to complete the look.
