The project

I have just completed painting and finishing off a bedroom. I repainted the walls in Lexicon 1/4 strength low sheen, the floors were painted in satin black, skirting boards, architrave and windows and door in satin white.

I have also added a new bed, purchased a flat pack wardrobe, made coat hooks, shutters, up cycled a bedside drawers and made a floating picture frame.

Steps

Step 1

Removed old skirting boards and patched area.

Washed and painted walls. Four coats were required to cover the original paint.

Sanded, washed and painted three coats of satin black on the floor.
