EasyCraft VJ panels were used to help transform this boy's bedroom.
Bedroom makeover using EasyCraft panelling.
Measure and cut panelling to size using your track saw.
Place panelling on wall, connect the panels using the Gorilla glue at the joins. The panelling will click into each other.
Secure VJ panelling to wall with nails.
Fill nail holes and joins and allow to dry. Here is the product I used.
Once dry, lightly sand filler.
Use painters tape to tape up surrounding areas before painting. I used Frog tape.
Cut in using a brush. For this project I chose to use a smaller brush to minimise any thick cutting in lines. This part can take a while so avoid any thick layers of paint as they may start to dry before you use your roller leaving 'thicker' lines.
Once you've cut in, use a roller to paint the rest of the panelling. You will need to do two coats.
Once the paint is all dry, add a trim of your choice. Fill nail holes and once dried sand and tape up for painting. Frog tape is great for freshly painted surfaces.
Once you're done, style as desired.
