This screening enclosure uses lattice to hide a hot water system alongside the side of the house.

The project

Spent a couple of weekends building a screen enclosure to hide our hot water tank.

I attached one screen to the wall and added a piece of timber to increase the width so it lines up with the post for the gate. Then I used lattice to create an enclosure.

This is amazing @diy_hausdesigns! It looks so clean and tidy. I also love how you mounted your hose reel to the side.

We were so inspired by your screening project that we are currently working on doing the same thing to hide an A/C condenser unit.

Hi @homeinmelbourne

Luckily my hot water tank is on the roof connected to a solar system. However, if it was down on the ground you can be sure I would have used an enclosure to hide it. Please don't forget to post a photo update, I'm sure our members would be keen to see how you'll be screening your hot water tank.
