A kids play area was converted into a stylish space for gathering around the fire pit with custom bench seats, Merbau screening and Un-Real hedge panels.
The project
It was time to say goodbye to our kids sand pit and cubby house, and hello to barbecue summer days and winter fire pit nights.
We used Merbau screening for the fence with Un-Real hedge panels, and created our own custom bench seats using more Merbau panels.
We installed a double panelled fence for privacy, and the back fence has a hidden gate.
Cost wise, the fence was around $2,000 and the bench seat and paving area was about the same, including the pavers and gravel.
