Mudroom makeover with timber mouldings

Scrubbing off mould, installing timber mouldings and painting a bold green rejuvenated a room damaged by floods.

The project

This room was damaged in the February 2022 floods. We had damage to the ceiling, walls and floors. This was after we had scrubbed the walls at least a dozen times to get rid of the mould. We added the timber mouldings for some depth.

 

First coat done and yes, it is "Bunnings green". It was just the Dulux colour that we liked.

Afternoon @goolmangarenos 

The more I look at timber moldings the more i start to consider them. I think you have pushed me over the line into "yep will give that a go" for my foyer. It was going to be a stark, functional foyer with tall glossy fronte dlinen cabinets instead of the alcove with a mirror and particle board half linen cupboard it is now. What I picture now has really changed from what it was.. 

Nice work and I do like the colour.
