This quick and simple shoe storage solution using timber offcuts is a terrific way to keep shoes tidy and out of sight.

The project

I cut timber offcuts I had laying around to size (approximately 50mm smaller than the depth of the shelves) and glued them to the wall with Selleys Hold Up. I also put one screw in the middle for extra support and then glued the shelves on top. I used Flexi storage 16mm white timber shelves and 900mm lengths, which fit in the wardrobe perfectly so I didn’t need to cut them.
