I wanted a workbench to fit in the garage to a specific spot which nothing I could find would suit. Solution: Build one.
The bench allows storage underneath, on top and the pegboard helps organise my tools.
- Wood (framing)
- Peg Board
- Ply wood
- Bench wood
- Brackets
- Screws
- Spray Paint (Black)
- Sealant/Varnish
- Drill
- Impact Driver
- Mitre Saw
- Cordless Sander
Gather materials:
Attach Legs to bench top.
Build support frame around bench top.
Add support frames for bottom and middle shelf.
Screw bottom and middle shelves into place on top of their frames.
Build top shelf with frame screwed into shelf.
Sand back shelves and bench top and then apply waterproof sealant/varnish.
Attach supports for peg board and peg board to work bench using metal brackets.
Attach Top shelf to peg board using floating shelf brackets.
Enjoy your new custom work bench 😀
