I’m planning to build a concrete slab for a garden shed in our backyard, with dimensions of 3 meters (depth) x 1.5 meters (width). I’m reasonably handy and confident in tackling this project myself, but I’d appreciate some guidance on what materials, tools, and steps I’ll need to complete the job properly.
Could you help me with a list of required materials and a brief outline of the process involved
Hello @vivianauh
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us and thanks for sharing your question about building a concrete slab.
I suggest having a quick look at this guide -How to pour a concrete slab by @tom_builds. It's an excellent guide and will give you the basics on what you need to do to pour your own slab. My best advice is to make sure to give the slab enough time to cure properly before you anchor your shed over it. If you drill too early into the slab it will fracture and give way.
If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.
