How to plumb two downpipe outlets into one?

Putting 2x 90mm downpipe outlets into 1 . Should try do y junction adaption into 100mm ? Then drop down into stormwater open grate to soakwell . Also should I have 100mm pipe into soakwell from grate. It got fitted with a 90mm pipe. The two roof areas 12m2 each side. Total 24m2 area.

Thanks for sharing your question about your downpipes. Please note that any plumbing work or stormwater connections must be carried out by a licensed plumber for safety and compliance.

It's probable that the plumber will be using a "Y" junction with a reducer to accommodate the change in size. In regards to the soak well you can always ask your plumber regarding the pipe size. But from a drainage point of view, a larger pipe will be able to carry more water in it.
