Hi @TAO1201,
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.
Typically, you would use 42 x 42mm Baluster Handrail H3 Primed Pine for this purpose. Are the existing balusters 42x42mm in dimension? I'd say it is fairly likely they are.
They are usually slotted into a rebate on the underside of the handrail, then fixed in place with angled finish nails through the top and bottom of the baluster. Typically, you would use a finish nailer such as this Trim Master Gas Bradder, which can be hired in-store. Just call ahead to check availability to ensure there is one available.
Once they have been fixed in place, fill the nail holes with Exterior Timber Filler, give it a sand, then paint over it with 3 coats of exterior paint to finish up.
Let me know what you think, and if you have further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Appreciate your reply, it’s very helpful, mine is 42*31
Hello @TAO1201
That size is available; here is the link - 42 x 31mm 5.4m Baluster H3 Pink Pine FJ Primed EBR3 LOSP.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Thanks for your reply
and any suggestion for repaint ? Including the ceiling?
thanks
Hi @TAO1201,
I'd suggest giving the timber a light sand with some 120 Grit Sandpaper, then wiping it down with sugar soap. This light sand will help to remove any dirt or grime that has built up and smooth the surface to prepare it for paint. The sugar soap will help to remove any powdery residue left over from the sanding.
You can then use a high-quality brush or roller to apply an exterior paint such as Dulux Weathershield, in a gloss level of your choice and tinted to a colour of your choice. Apply three coats, ensuring you follow the recommended recoat time on your specific paint. It is usually recommended to wait two hours between coats.
After applying each coat, go back over it with an empty brush or roller to smooth out any areas where the paint has accumulated.
Make sure to put down a drop sheet to prevent any paint drips from falling on the tiles.
You might like to have a look at some of the articles on Painting & Decorating in the D.I.Y. advice section of our website. There is plenty of additional information in there that should help.
Let me know if you have any particular questions that you can't find an answer to.
