Hi. I have just bought an Ozito 12v cordless drill. Could I use the battery from that in an Ozito 18v Circular saw or other Ozito power tool.
Hey, I have a question. I have the ozito blower then I bought an Ozito blade trimmer (whippersnipper). Both haave compatible batteries. But when I bought an Ozito drill and a hammer drill the batteries are not compatible with the blower. Are there any adapter? Thanks
Hello @hacruz
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us.
If the Ozito drill/Hammer drill you purchased has the Ozito PXC logo on it, then it should be compatible. But if not, then the PXC battery system will not work for your drill. I'm sorry, but there are no adapters available to switch from one system to another. If you still have the packaging and docket for the drill, I propose thinking about returning the drill and exchanging it for a compatible set.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
Eric
I have a battery operated Lawn Mower OZITO (PXCLMS-018) (2018/06) and has a 18 Volt / 3.0AH Li Ion battery (PXBP- 300 - 3AH Battery) which is failing fast.
My Enquiry is I purchased and paid for
According to Bunnings website the above batteries and charger should be compatible with the 18 Volt / 3.0AH Li Ion battery PXBP- 300 - 3AH Battery and Lawn Mower OZITO PXCLMS-018 But I have my doubts due to the age of the lawn mower and battery. Can some one assure me that the 2 X 4.AH batteries 18 V will operate in the mower without any damage to either units ?
Or do I have to purchase a new Lawn Mower to match. ?
Thanks in advance
Marktech.
Hi @Marktech,
Thank you for your question and welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.
Your PXCLMS-018 lawnmower is on the PXC 18v battery platform and the Ozito PXC 18V 2 x 4.0Ah Batteries And Multi Charger Pack is part of this same battery platform. This mark indicates that your mower is a PXC compatible tool.
There's nothing to worry about, the batteries you have purchased are compatible with your lawnmower.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
Jacob
Thankyou Jacob. Now I have to mow my lawn 🤣
I'll be doing the same later this afternoon. I hope you're like me and enjoy getting out in the sun and mowing the lawn.
I have a 15 year old 18V Ozito cordless drill and have lost the charger. Can i still get one, or is there a compatible charger somewhere?
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @RossG. It's great to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about Ozito battery chargers. If you can provide us the model number of the tool the battery came with then I can contact Ozito to see if they still manufacture a charger or if there is a compatible one available. Please let me know if you have any questions.Mitchell
I have a Ozito drill but the batteries do no fit the charger I use for other Ozito tools or the tools
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @saracen. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about Ozito batteries. If the battery for your drill doesn’t fit your current charger, it's likely that the battery and charger are incompatible and from different series or voltages. Could you let us know a bit more about what you're trying to achieve? Are you missing the charger for your drill and in need of a replacement? If so, providing the model number of your drill would be really helpful, and we can contact Ozito to see if a replacement charger is available for you. Please let me know if you have any questions.Mitchell
Gooday
Thankyou for your interest.
I recently purchased a used drill with two batteries and no charger, although I didn’t ned the drill I (incorrectly) assumed that the batteries would be useful for the other Ozito appliances I have along with two chargers.
I am now aware that there are (at least) two sizes of battery which renders them unusable for the reason I purchased them as the batteries are not interchangeable.
The question for me is, do I purchase another charger for batteries for a drill I don’t need or just write it off to experience.
I will check with Bunnings to ascertain the cost and availability of the errant charger.
Cheers
I guess that comes down to whether you need the drill @saracen. If you have some use for it, then it would be worth ordering a charger so it can be used. Since the batteries are incompatible with your other tools, unfortunately, they don't appear to be useful to you otherwise.
Mitchell
Bunnings advise that the drill and batteries are quite old and getting a charger is somewhat unlikely.
However I have discovered that an acquaintance has a similar vintage unit and the correct charger. He just got gifted a drill and two batteries.
Problem solved.
Thanks for your interest
That's great to hear @saracen. Now that you have a drill, you'll be surprised how often you can find a reason to use it!
hi. I am looking for a charger only for this. Does anyone know where I can source one please?
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @jgal1309. It's brilliant to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about Ozito chargers. If you could let me know the model number of the chainsaw, I can contact Ozito to find out whether there is a replacement charger available to order. Ozito checks the availability of batteries and chargers by referencing the machine model number. So, if you can supply that, I'll get onto it for you. You'll find the model number on a sticker on the unit. Please let me know if you have any questions.Mitchell
Thanks so much!
Can I mix 2amp and 3amp 18v batteries on my Ozito dual battery line trimmer?
Hi @colormannz,
A warm welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community and thank you for your question.
Assuming they are both Ozito PXC batteries, then there will be no issues. The amp hour rating refers to the reservoir of power. They both draw the same voltage, but the 3Ah battery has a larger reservoir, meaning if they are both fully charged, the 2Ah battery will go flat before the 3Ah battery.
If they are older batteries and are not part of the PXC battery platform, please let me know the model number of the batteries so I can confirm with Ozito whether they are compatible.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
What’s the difference between the twin pack Ozito batteries for $89 and the one for $129. Both are 18V 4.0Ah so I’m not sure which to buy.
Hi @Derek3,
The Ozito PXC 18V 4.0Ah Compact Batteries are a new addition to the PXC range that is essentially the same as the Ozito PXC 18V 4.0Ah Battery Twin Pack PXTBP-240 in terms of run time, they just come in a compact format.
The $89 Ozito PXC 18V 4.0Ah Compact Battery PPBP-240 - Twin Pack is a limited-run promotional line that is fairly low in stock countrywide, so if there are any available around you, I would snap them up before they are gone.
Hi @Derek3
Definitely follow @JacobZ advice and snap up the newer compact 4.0Ahr packs. They are lighter and offer the same power output and runtime. To be honest I don't understand why Ozito have made a more advanced battery pack a limited offering.

My Ozitto grass trimmer of several years came with an 18v 1.5 AH battery . The current x-range 2 AH Battery does not fit .
Does this mean as i can no longer buy a battery to fit and that I am up for a total new grass trimmer with battery kit?
Hello @mark571
Can you please tell us the model number of your line trimmer. How many years have you had the line trimmer in your possession. Would it also be possible for you to post a photo of the product identification tag of both the battery and the line trimmer. We can try and double check for you if the battery is still available from Ozito.
If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.
Battery is OLBP_0185 Grass trimmer 3QY9XJR
Thanks for providing those numbers. If you can post some pictures of the line trimmer and battery as well, it would be very much appreciated.
Thanks Eric, I went to Bunnings today and noticed on sale for $99 I was able to buy a new grass trimer with battery and charger and ten blades. The new battery is now interchangeable with my other two Ozito Tools. So, it is not worth chasing up a compatible Battery for my old Grass Trimmer. Thank you for your replies.
It's good to hear that you've found a new Ozito set to trim your lawn. Plus, it's great to know that the grass trimmer battery is compatible with your tool set.
Please inform me where I can purchase Ozito battery adaptor, which enables use of Makita batteryin Ozito chainsaw
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @electrictools. It's terrific to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about battery adaptors.I'm not aware of any adaptors supplied by our manufacturers that are used to adapt batteries to different companies' machines. If they are available, they would be from a third-party supplier, and our tool companies do not recommend their use. Please remember that the use of such adaptors can void your warranty if they cause damage to the machine. Please let me know if you have any questions.Mitchell
