Hi @Pmsmaintenance,
This is a brilliant little miniature model of a travelling block. For those who might not know, this is a part of the lifting mechanism on drilling rigs.
I had a quick look through some of your Youtube videos, and there are some really sophisticated models on there. It looks like your travelling block is functional. Is the plan to integrate it with some of your other models?
It's really cool to see someone turn some basic parts from Bunnings into a replica of some incredibly sophisticated machinery. I hope to see more in the future. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks @JacobZ for appreciating my work,my objective is clear,I want to project Made in Australia first.
The creations should move on to younger Australian’s, by enjoying technical workshop craftsmanship.
keeping the youth away from social media reels but focus on these models to further enhance into Made in Australia manufacture reels ,than us relying on foreign manufacture.
I am thinking you may have worked on an oil rig .
Thank you for viewing my YouTube channel .
The appreciation from you has motivated me to manufacture further more drilling equipment.
Today we painted the Zebra strips.
cheers mate.
Hi @Pmsmaintenance,
I can't say I've ever worked on an oil rig, but I have worked around a few tower cranes with similar block-and-tackle setups, and I find heavy machinery and the clever engineering behind it fascinating.
The zebra stripes look great. They make it look even more industrial.
Keep up the good work!
Jacob
