3D printed Willie Wagtail garden art

I designed and 3D printed a Willie Wagtail for our garden — it’s my wife’s favorite bird. Using a photo I found online as a reference, I modeled it in Bambu Studio (free software) and then printed it on my ender 5 3D printer.

To give it a natural perch, I mounted the finished bird onto an old garden fork, so it looks right at home among the plants. It’s a fun way to mix 3D printing with upcycling, and it adds a personal touch to the garden.

This was a great project combining design, printing, and a bit of creative recycling. My wife absolutely loves it, and it’s now a little feature piece in the garden!

Re: 3D Printed Willie Wagtail Garden Art

Hello @Super_D

Thanks for sharing that excellent 3D print of the wagtail. Using the garden fork as perch was an inspired idea. I'm wondering if any real wagtails have been fooled by your creation.

Again, thank you for sharing such a great idea.

Eric
