Backyard makeover with paving and fruit trees

Filling the last (and best) portion of back yard with a paved trail to the water tanks. Side fence extended 600 mm with help from Bunnings. Two peach trees, two apricots; one lemon and one mandarin fill the side and two plum trees fill up the back by the water tanks. A raised vegetable garden alongside the shed fills what remains of what was once an eyesore! Bunnings supplied the major bits to make this happen.

Materials

Fence extension (upwards). Timber, sleepers, pavers, loam, plnebark, irrigation. Wife and grandsons.

Tools

Ryobi drills. Trimmers (2), wheelbarrow, drill bits, sharpener, hardware, small tools, pressure pump and bench for irrigation bits; seat for me and rug for grandsons.

Steps

Step 1

Prepare soil, layout planting area, prepare and install fence extension, feed grandma and grandsons, dig holes for trees, prepare and lay pavers, build raised garden, spread loam, plant trees, feed grandsons!
