Do you need drainage holes in a plastic garden bed on legs?

Hi I’ve just brought a plastic garden bed on legs from u & I’m wondering if I have to put drainage holes in or r they already in it & all I have to do is put the potting mix in

Re: hi high rised plastic beds

I would not be putting any mesh or weed mat over the holes/legs. You’ll end up blocking the drainage which defeats the purpose of the design.
I’d be filling the legs with drainage gravel as well as the bottom of the garden bed. This will then allow the garden bed to work as designed

I'm sure our members appreciate your input. Drainage gravel in the legs sounds like a great idea.
