My grass area left of my path was a mixture of 7 grasses. I have dug out a small area and laid 3 courses of bricks.Pavers and cushions are added for outdoor comfort. Also a path to my water tap of hardwood timbers. Project time was 1 week. What uou can't see is my apple tree espalaide.
Cement,Bricks, gravel, hardwood timbers, assorted plants and apple tree in an espalaide.
Spades, cement trowels,pliers,wire and me.
Initial area was roped out for design and size. Once the grass was removed I dug the area out 2meters x 2 meters in square. Laid a base cement course.
Started the 3 course brick surrounds.
Once completed I cleaned the bricks and then cemented 3 papers in position for cushions to sit on. Assorted plants were prepared and planted. Core ten steel garden edging. Gravel added. Weed mat for stopping the grass returning and sugar cane mulch for surrounds.

Hi @Andrew8973,
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fabulous to have you with us.
Congratulations on your front garden makeover. It looks fantastic now, but once the plants have grown in, I'm sure it will be magnificent.
I think it would be the perfect spot to have a small fire pit to sit around and enjoy some toasted marshmallows and a beverage with friends.
Thank you for sharing.
Jacob
