Need help with my backyard lawn. Not sure whether I can just buy grass seed and cover over current lawn or do i require to
remove existing lawn and start from scratch. Please see images below.

I suspect Workshop members will need some more information from you in order to assist. Could you please add detail like where you are based, how much sun your lawn gets, and whether you know what type of turf was laid and when? It might also be helpful to know whether the grass is only recently struggling or whether this has been an ongoing problem for some time.
