Re: How can I improve my garden and veranda?

Hi @mikemate1961,

Sorry for the slow reply. We unfortunately don't have our resident Bunnings D.I.Y. expert on the site this weekend but will be happy to assist as soon as possible.

I think community members need to see some wider shots of the area so we can see what you are working with and what might best suit the house and garden. Could we please trouble you for some more photos?

It might also assist if you can tell us what you think are the problems that need addressing.

Many thanks,

Jason

Hello @mikemate1961

While we are waiting for more information about your garden. If you are after a quick dress up, I suggest either covering the area with rolled turf or coloured display pebbles that will cover up the soil. Unless you had other plans in mind there is also the possibility of covering the area with potted plants.

Do you have a photo of your veranda? If you can post a photo of that area, we'll try and offer suggestions as well.

Re: How can I make my existing garden and veranda look A1 and ready to sell.

Hi@mikemate1961

Thanks for sharing those extra photos of your veranda. If you are preparing your home for viewing, one of the easiest things you can do is to declutter the areas that will be seen.

For example, on the day of the open home, I suggest hiding the bike and drying rack in the shed. Flowerpots with no plants in it, stools and miscellaneous items that are just lying around need to be put away into the shed so that the area looks nice and tidy.

If time permits, I suggest grabbing your pressure washer and giving the pavers a once over to remove stains and blemishes. Give your outdoor furniture a quick wipe down to remove dust and debris. A light trim of the ferns and it should be ready for viewing.

Let me call on our experienced members @redbournreno, @daniknight4 and @Renowayoflife for their recommendations.

If you need further assistance, please let us know.
