How do I fix my jade plant?

hello everyone!

Hope everyone is doing fine. My jade plant hasn't been doing too well. And im really worried now because the leaves have lost all their charm. And their wrinkled i tried to put them in a better spot to get more sunlight . I even tried to water it more now someone's suggested I try repotting it and in a bigger pot. I was wondering how do I go on about that. What sort of mix do I need etc. For what I know so far I need all purpose and cacti or succulent mix and perlite ? Let me know ASAP.

I am a terrible plant mum..they say you can’t kill succulents but I can lol

Re: How do I fix my jade plant?

If it's receiving at least rainwater, then it might be a combination of poor drainage and overexposure @projectmumdanni. Don't worry, I've killed plenty of succulents. Don't confuse succulents with cacti, many don't like full sun; in fact, several of my succulents don't receive any direct sun at all and are thriving.

I'd move it to a more sheltered spot, ensure there is good drainage in the pot (water should run freely out of the holes underneath when watered), water it once or twice a week and keep your fingers crossed. You could also repot it into a succulent mix.

Re: How do I fix my jade plant?

Thanks MitchellMc. Should I put it in a larger pot? I have the succulent soil here at home. I put rocks in the bottom then covered with soils and plant as thought they maybe enough drainage :unhappy: I will get onto it today

Re: How do I fix my jade plant?

A new, larger pot wouldn't hurt @projectmumdanni. Rocks in the bottom are a good idea, but you still need adequate drainage holes.
