My eggplant are infested with fruit borer, how to control or is there any insecticide i can use to control fruit and shoot borer
Hello @Ivy31
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's fantastic to have you join us, and thank you for sharing your question about fruit borers.
One way to manage eggplant borer infestation is through good crop sanitation and the conservative use of insecticides to protect natural predators. Sanitation includes cutting, removing and destroying damaged shoots until it's time to harvest. The infected leaves and crops must not be mixed in with your compost as they will cause contamination.
I recommend having a look at Eco-Organic Garden 750ml Ready To-Use Eco-Oil. It's made from 100% botanical oils it is safe for use on edibles and ornamentals with no withholding period.
Let me call on our experienced members @Noelle and @Adam_W for their recommendations.
