How to fix water penetration from bottom of garden shed?

We just have our Absco Garden shed 3m x 2.26 m installed on concrete slab couple of days ago by Handyman. There is some rain water penetration from edges, though silicon has been applied to stop water coming in. Could someone please advise what is the reason for water penetration and how to stop it.

Thank you for your question and welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.

On the right side of the shed, you have a relief cut in your concrete. During heavy rain, water can track down this relief cut and through capillary action, rise up and into the shed. This relief cut will need to be filled to prevent water from coming up through it.

Around the edges, if there is any gap in the silicone, even if it is the size of a pinprick, water will find a way in, especially if the shed is sealed on the inside edge. My suggestion is to have the outside edge of the shed sealed to the slab using Sikaflex 11FC.

Having an additional seal from the outside will do a lot to help prevent further water entry.
