How to get rid of grass in my flower bed?

I have grass take over my small front yard garden. It has a Japanese box and standard roses.

The grass has grown all over. I used to keep up pulling them out and spray round up. Is there a chemical which can kill the grass without killing my box and roses?

Unfortunately, I'm not aware of a product that you can use to control the grass that won't affect the surrounding plants.

The best option is manual removal as it introduces no additional chemicals to the garden, but this can be time-consuming and taxing on the body. Using longer tools such as a long-handle weeder can make the job easier and might help enough that you are happy to keep up with the manual removal.

Alternatively, you can spot-spray the grass with Roundup, being careful to avoid overspray as it will affect the other plants in the garden.

After removing the grass, you should consider applying a layer of mulch between 50-100mm thick to help suppress unwanted grass and weeds.
